Ferhat Cetin
Biography: Ferhat was born and raised in Türkiye and pursued a degree in sports during his college years. Kicking off his professional journey as a fitness instructor, he gradually advanced his expertise and eventually became a certified personal trainer. Along the way, Ferhat discovered Pilates and immediately fell in love with it. He undertook comprehensive training in POLESTAR PILATES, a renowned program renowned for its excellence and attention to detail. Anjali Kanter
Biography: Anjali, a Santa Fe, New Mexico native, ventured to New York City to pursue her dream of becoming a professional dancer. Under the tutelage of esteemed mentors Ray Kurshals and Kevin Bowen, she honed her skills and developed an unyielding passion for Pilates and the art of movement. However, fate had a different plan in store for Anjali when she underwent knee surgery, which temporarily halted her dancing aspirations. It was during this challenging time that she discovered the transformative power of pilates. The method not only aided in her recovery but also ignited a deep-rooted belief that pilates could benefit anyone, regardless of their fitness level or background. Anjali's unwavering passion for pilates extends beyond the physical aspects. She firmly believes in its healing potential, striving to empower individuals to develop a strong, stable, and healthy lifestyle. With a challenging, full body workout each class, her ultimate goal is to empower others to live healthy, balanced lives through pilates. Megumi (Meg) Iwama
Biography: Megumi (Meg) Iwama is a Southern California native born and raised in Orange County. Her movement studies began young with dance training at age 6 and graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a BFA in Dance Performance and BFA in Dance Choreography. Throughout her college training, she studied under ballet professor and Pilates Instructor Diane Diefenderfer, and received her classical Pilates certification in 2017 through Studio Du Corp in all apparatus. She currently resides in New York City where she is a professional dancer most recently performing for Company XIV in their annual "Nutcracker Rouge". Meg shares her passion in movement and fitness by spreading joy and healing through the Pilates method. What to expect from class with Meg: Anticipate a challenging full-body workout infused with her classical Pilates expertise and contemporary flair. You'll experience a deep burn, complemented by a sense of lengthening, leaving you feeling both strong and stretched out. Emily Knieriem
Biography: Emily Knieriem was born and raised in Omaha, NE and started her dancing journey at the age of 3. After dancing competitively for 10 years, she decided to take her education to the next level and graduated from The University of the Arts with a BFA in Dance in 2018. She made her way to NYC and has performed in a variety of works in film, music videos, live performances, and at venues such as Madison Square Garden and Terminal 5. Her passion for movement has informed her fitness career and led her to become a NASM Certified Personal Trainer, Pre/Postnatal, and Pilates Full Apparatus Certified Instructor from the Kane School. She is passionate about the importance of cross-training and considers Pilates to be a transformative modality to share with others. What to expect from class with Emily: Emily’s background in dance and personal training informs how she incorporates aspects of strength into her reformer classes. Her contemporary spin on classical choreography creates a fun and dynamic flow that will leave you feeling more connected to your body. She believes that you don’t need to over-complicate exercises in order for them to be effective and that attention to detail informs how you can enhance your movement. Her anatomy knowledge helps her provide clear and concise cueing to safely guide you through class and engage with a deeper mind-body connection. Hannah Tran
Biography: Hannah’s journey in the world of Pilates, spanning over 10 years of practice and teaching, has led to notable achievements including features in Women's Health Magazine, Cosmopolitan, HuffPost, and other global publications. Her dedication reflected in 10K+ hours of teaching Pilates to a diverse global clientele, including (Broadway) dancers, athletes, singers, models, pre- & post-natal, and special populations. Hannah completed five different Pilates teacher trainings in NYC, San Francisco, Thailand, and Vietnam, including her latest comprehensive 600-hour classical Pilates training in NYC. When not teaching, Hannah enjoys exploring the world through traveling and hiking with her toy poodle and creating content on her YouTube channel Moving Mango Pilates. Her sweet personality and commitment to her clients' strength and fitness goals embody her life's philosophy of empowerment through Pilates. Marjorie Mann
Biography: While working grueling hours as a professional chef in Manhattan, Marjorie discovered Pilates as a way to incorporate movement into her daily life. After nearly a decade of practice, she transitioned from student to teacher, receiving her full mat and apparatus certification from Club Pilates. Marjorie loves the control and awareness Pilates has brought to her body and strives to help her clients find that same connection in her classes. What to expect from class with Marjorie: Her classes focus on improving alignment, core strength, and overall flexibility in a fun, dynamic, and creative way. She is passionate about helping people improve their connectivity and expand their own practices, whether it's their first time on a reformer or they've been practicing for years.

Rosalind (Roz) Hsu
Biography: Rosalind (Roz) Hsu is a Taiwanese native based in New York City. She grew up training in several dance styles, and eventually moved to New York in 2019 to pursue dance professionally. While in New York, she experienced Reformer Pilates for the first time and has been hooked ever since. Her interest in Pilates and its movement philosophy led her to Holydog Pilates where she started as a student. Under the training and mentorship of Ferhat and Anjali, Roz has now transitioned to being a teacher at her favorite studio. What to expect from class with Roz: Experience a challenging workout with a contemporary flow that focuses on strength, alignment, flexibility, and coordination. Through clear cueing and personalized feedback, Roz strives to create an accessible and productive class environment. Lauren McCarthy
Biography Originally from Long Island, Lauren grew up exploring a wide range of movement through dance, gymnastics, swimming, and skiing. While those early experiences built a strong foundation, weightlifting was what first sparked her passion for fitness. After a hamstring injury, she discovered Pilates and quickly realized it was the missing piece in her movement journey. After years of working at a desk as a fashion designer, Lauren sought a change. Pilates not only helped restore her posture and strength but also reignited her energy and love for movement. Certified through Gramercy Pilates NYC, Lauren is now dedicated to helping others build strength from the inside out.
