Megumi (Meg) Iwama is a Southern California native born and raised in Orange County. Her movement studies began young with dance training at age 6 and graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a BFA in Dance Performance and BFA in Dance Choreography. Throughout her college training, she studied under ballet professor and Pilates Instructor Diane Diefenderfer, and received her classical Pilates certification in 2017 through Studio Du Corp in all apparatus. She currently resides in New York City where she is a professional dancer most recently performing for Company XIV in their annual "Nutcracker Rouge". Meg shares her passion in movement and fitness by spreading joy and healing through the Pilates method.

Meg meticulously guides each student to their fullest potential, providing necessary modifications to ensure safety and injury prevention for all.
